Calico fabric, pigment dye
This fabric was created during a short course on repeat pattern printing with the norwegian artist Elise Storsveen.
Instead of drawing something, I photocopied images from a book on Bauhaus and rearranged them in a new way. I took inspiration from surrealist og constructivist collages.
The final image was made into a repeat by hand, scanned in and exposed on to the screen. The design was printed using pigment based dye medium on to a simple cotton calico.
